Welcome back friends!

For this post I want to discuss why and how I came up with this method of inquiry tracking and purpose! I have always heard of these so called ‘mood journals’ that are daily mood tracking charts, diagrams, and doodling activities. They can come in various forms whether it’s online or physical copies. These journals are great for doodling, tracking, and artistic approaches to benefiting one’s mental health and being.

Below are some images of mood journals:

These examples, along with this website display great variation of the artistic approaches to clear mood and health tracking techniques. As you may have noticed by following my other inquiry posts, the second image above is much like my chart I have created to track my health and feelings after I take part in my inquiry activities. As i created my chart myself, I will say previous knowledge of these types of tracking techniques benefitted my results.

I am very much an organized person who needs clarity, simplicity, and colour. All four of these needs for me are met by the tracking chart I created, expect maybe it is lacking a smidgen of colour! Anyway, I just thought as this week my results were not changing drastically, I would share where I got inspired to use the methods I chose.

I hope you all enjoyed my update and here is my tip for you all to try!

  • Take at least 5 minutes in your day at any point to be off screens, alone, in a safe comfortable place where you can focus on yourself, your health, and your breathing. Life can be a handful and more sometimes and I find my meditation and calming practices really have made a positive impact.

Take care and have a dank day:)
